Live Paintings | Museo de Tepotzotlán

Museo del Virreinato – Living Paintings & Videomapping Installation At the Museo del Virreinato in Tepotzotlán, I developed a “living painting” projection as part of a videomapping installation focused on the Jesuit legacy in New Spain. The centerpiece was a historical painting of José de Acosta, one of the most prominent Jesuit thinkers. Through digital animation and projection techniques, I brought the artwork to life, illustrating the journey, influence, and missionary work of the Jesuit founders using the museum's most significant visual heritage. The project aimed to bridge traditional art with contemporary media, enhancing the viewer’s historical experience in an immersive, respectful way.
